Ningaloo Reef Adventure Camps are specifically designed around the safe, crystal clear waters of Coral Bay, known as the gateway to the Ningaloo Reef, in Western Australia. Ningaloo Reef, located within the Ningaloo Marine Park, is just north of the Tropic of Capricorn and approximately 1200 kms north of Perth.
Ningaloo Marine Park is a world class key conservation area which runs for 260 kms down the western coast of the Exmouth Peninsula and protects Australia’s largest fringing reef and its associated marine life of coral, fish, turtles, dugong, sharks, dolphins whales, and much more. The marine park area has one of the greatest diversity of species anywhere in the world, and is rich with life and colour.

Ningaloo Reef Adventure Camps are an educational camp based in Coral Bay, Western Australia. Our camps are specially designed around interacting with and protecting the unique World Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef. These camps focus on creating a fun, safe, challenging and motivating camp itinerary for students that is run and developed by qualified and experienced staff.
Whether it be adventure, eco-education, leadership or simply relaxing experiences, Ningaloo Reef Adventure Camps provide a variety of activities that guarantee lots of enjoyment for all participants in and out of the ocean. Some of the wonderful activities available include:
At Ningaloo Reef Adventure Camps we specialise in school camps from 2-8 days duration and provide a package inclusive of food, accommodation and all activities including boat trips. Packages can be tailored to suit your educational outcomes and priced accordingly.
Our school camps provide an ideal vehicle for students to establish and develop a strong sense of identity and community. We offer students a challenging and rewarding outdoor experience in a safe and nurturing natural environment with the opportunity to achieve their personal best. Our programs are designed with an emphasis on ‘achievement’ as a quality learning outcome.
We offer a range of options from basic site hire to fully catered camps with a comprehensive program of outdoor activities tailored to your individual requirements and objectives.
Camps
For many Australian children, attending their School Camp is a rite of passage. We at NRAC are serious about making this one of the most memorable experiences of their childhood. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and challenging camp that can be tailored to the age and needs of your student group.
At NRAC we cater for all ages, and specialise in programs for Primary, Middle and Senior School students.
Primary School Camps
Primary School camps have been designed with the younger student in mind. For many, it is their first time away from home.
Students learn new skills, engage in challenging activities and develop teamwork competency and a level of independence, all in a safe and nurturing environment.
Middle School Camps
Middle School programs are adventure based and designed to provide age related activities and increasing challenges as student’s progress through the years.
At NRAC we provide a quality venue and outdoor programs for Years 7 to 9.
Senior School Camps
Senior programs are primarily based around interacting with the Ningaloo Reef and its marine inhabitants.
The programs have a strong marine science component and are designed to provide senior students with a range of outdoor challenges that require a high level of participation and maturity.
Joint Programs Run By Teachers And NRAC
NRAC can run joint programs where our staff provide guided instruction for adventure activities while teachers run aspects of the program such as leadership, effective time management, student health issues and religious studies. Curriculum components can also be incorporated by School staff where appropriate to optimise learning experiences.
Staff Qualifications
NRAC is owned and operated by vibrant, adventurous and experienced staff, who work with their clients to create a fun-filled and flexible program that meets the needs and skill level of its participants.
All staff have a WA Working with Children Check, SLSWA Community Surf Rescue Certificate (Beach Bronze Medallion) and St John Ambulance Apply First Aid Certificate as a minimum.
Camp Meals & Special Requirements
NRAC caters with a variety of fresh local produce such as seafood’s, fine Australian meats, fruits, and vegetables delivered through creative, home cooking methods. Providing we have notice, dietary issues such as diabetes, food allergies and vegetarian requirements are accommodated.
Risk Assessment & Management
